Today was the day before Mom had to be readmitted to the hospital....In the days after Terri and Tom left, mom began to feel progressively weaker..On the day mom got readmitted, she did not feel like making her regular doc appt..The day before mom got readmitted to the hospital I had already called her surgeon to tell him my concerns..On the same day Mom got taken to the ER I called our home health nurse friend out to do mom's wound care..The nurse asked us if there was anything else we needed..I asked her to call and speak to mom's surgeon and give surgeon her assessment of mom as mom's nurse..We ended up getting mom to the local ER as per surgeon's wishes...
