I reached this rest stop in Alabama outside of Chattanooga TN at dusk..I had gotten thru Birmingham and had been out on the open highway for a little while ( I-24 West)..It was foggy and raining lightly..

I could see the mountains off in the distance..It was a beautiful scene with the soft fading light and fog....
I was shooting from a hill in the middle of a parking lot meant for semis..This parking lot surrounded the whole rest stop, so I had to climb to the top of a hill to get this partial view of mountain..

I added a layer to this image to hide part of the road and parking lot seen in the original pic lol..

This place is about 1 1/2 hours away from my mom's house :-)

I reached I -64 from 1-24 ( to bypass Chattanooga city limits) before it got completely dark..
